DVLA offers a range of individual digital and offline services. With increasing demand for digital services and customer feedback demonstrated that expectations of their user experience had shifted. There was a growing need to bring our services together, allowing customers to see and change their driver and vehicle information in one place and digitally, allowing for a more personalised experience.

A key part of the DVLA’s Driving Change 2021-2024 strategy was to introduce a new Customer Account that will ultimately give our customers personalised, easy and secure access to a range of services and allow them more choice in how they transact with us.

This is just the beginning, and we’ll be adding more features in future phases. We’ll be making all of our drivers digital services available through the account, along with a range of brand-new digital services too, to give motorists even more functionality, all in one place.
