Ayup Connect Community Platform

Logo

With unmanageable multiple directories, numerous websites, stale data, unwieldy lists and teams working in silos, local support and service data is messy. Consequently, local authorities and health systems miss opportunities to signpost early and improve long-term health outcomes, whilst people struggle to find the support they need.

Ayup co-designs with local stakeholders, bringing together siloed teams and organisations, to coalesce around the creation of a digital asset for the whole community.

This is powered by Ayup Connect V2 - a user-friendly, customisable directory platform that serves as a single source of truth, empowering residents to easily discover and access local support and information.

Key features include powerful search and filtering capabilities, an intuitive content management system, and a flexible frontend that allows for complete customisation.

With its focus on data interoperability and user-centric design, Ayup Connect streamlines access to vital services and information, ultimately helping residents live their best lives.

Cabinet Office: Find a grant

Logo

Until recently, it wasn’t easy to apply for government grants. As an applicant, you’d have to search multiple sites and different government departments to find opportunities.

Yet often, the organisations and individuals most in need of grant funding are the ones most lacking the time and resources to search for them. The Cabinet Office (TCO) asked AND Digital to help make it simpler, faster and fairer to find government funding.

- A Discovery phase involving 60+ users helped us crystallise our ideas around the following elements:
- Creating a first-of-its-kind, one-stop-shop bringing all government grants together under one search tool
- Creating a national service that would be easy to use and meet the needs of users from government bodies to farmers to scientific researchers
- Enabling proactivity, so once search criteria are established, the system contacts applicants, so they don’t miss out
- Ensuring interoperability between myriad different government systems

Digital Planning programme

Logo

We're building the foundations that will enable the planning system in England to transform, and evidence of success is growing. We focus on delivering better access to planning data, faster planning decisions, more efficient plan making and improved local community engagement.

We’re co-designing a suite of innovative solutions (software and digital tools) to modernise planning, working with LPAs and PropTech (property technology) firms. Together we develop, test and embed the digital solutions in two ways.

Open Digital Planning - our unique cross-public sector collaboration. We’ve established a growing community of 107 of forward-thinking LPAs. We work together to transform planning from an approach reliant on physical documents to a data-driven, digital system.

With PropTech Innovation funding, we’ve successfully piloted and rolled out at scale new digital tools and ways for LPAs to significantly reduce the timeframe and cost of planning, while increasing digital citizen engagement, shaping local plans.

DVLA Driver and vehicles account

Logo

DVLA offers a range of individual digital and offline services. With increasing demand for digital services and customer feedback demonstrated that expectations of their user experience had shifted. There was a growing need to bring our services together, allowing customers to see and change their driver and vehicle information in one place and digitally, allowing for a more personalised experience.

A key part of the DVLA’s Driving Change 2021-2024 strategy was to introduce a new Customer Account that will ultimately give our customers personalised, easy and secure access to a range of services and allow them more choice in how they transact with us.

This is just the beginning, and we’ll be adding more features in future phases. We’ll be making all of our drivers digital services available through the account, along with a range of brand-new digital services too, to give motorists even more functionality, all in one place.

Gloria Evaluation

Logo

Gloria is a curated, managed digital care technology service designed to enhance the independence, wellbeing, and safety of individuals in Richmond and Wandsworth. The service integrates various digital technologies, including wearables, sensors, and mainstream devices like Alexas and Ring doorbells, into a cohesive ecosystem that supports real-time monitoring and personalised care planning. By shifting the care model towards a digital-first approach, Gloria prevents, reduces, and delays the need for more intensive care, thereby improving quality of life and achieving significant cost savings for the councils.

Pre-Court Disposals

Logo

- 90% of crime is committed by people that have a conviction.
- Adults released from custodial sentences of less than 12 months have a proven reoffending rate of 55.3%.

The current approach to criminal justice and rehabilitation isn't working. Court Backlogs are at record levels, trust in Policing is at an all-time-low and prisons are overwhelmed. Since 2020, Make Time Count have been working with several Police Forces on an alternative, digitally enabled platform to avoid the revolving door of the Criminal Justice System. We want to reduce reoffending and make a difference to those impacted by the system.

We've used evidenced based research to build a tech ecosystem that enables officers to understand criminogenic needs of users and link to local service providers, all managed in one platform.

Spacehive Fundraising Platform

Logo

Spacehive is a community fundraising platform that empowers local people to lead local transformation. We are firm believers in the ingenuity of communities to respond to challenges in local areas with innovative solutions but for reasons such as lack of funding, experience or confidence, they can be locked out of that process before they’ve even begun. By shifting the traditional top-down approach of public service delivery, that often misses the nuanced needs of local communities, to a bottom-up model, we dismantle common barriers through access to resources and diverse funding streams.

We believe that those who experience their local challenges firsthand are best positioned to devise creative solutions. As a result, the ideas posted on Spacehive always reflect the issues the country is facing - the cost of living, post Covid recovery and now, most prominently, climate change. Our platform is continuously developed to help communities address their needs, enabling cutting edge ideas to be made possible. In doing so, Spacehive fosters a collaborative ecosystem where residents, businesses and local authorities co-create solutions. This reimagined approach to public service delivery ensures that local places, spaces and activities are shaped by communities.

StopNCII.org

Logo

StopNCII.org enables users to create digital hashes of their intimate images to protect them from being shared online without consent. These digital hashes (which are a world first for this purpose) are created directly on the person’s device meaning they never lose control of the image and it never leaves their device. The hash is sent securely to the StopNCII.org hash bank and is then shared with participating partners. Industry partners then scan all images uploaded to their platforms against the hash bank and any matches are flagged and moderated. Intimate images are then blocked from sharing on any participating platform.

StopNCII was the ground breaking solution needed to respond to the alarming rise of intimate image abuse worldwide whilst also addressing the privacy concern for victims seeking support. Control is put back in the hands of victims, effectively protecting and empowering victims whilst taking power away from perpetrators.

The Shared ARC Programme

Logo

In November 2021, the Digital Citizen Board approved the National Telecare Business Plan, signifying a major milestone in our commitment to improving telecare services ahead of the analogue to digital switchover.

One of the most pivotal recommendations within this comprehensive plan was the national procurement of a cutting-edge Shared ARC Platform. This platform is intended to be used within existing ARCs to provide a wide range of shared benefits and potential efficiencies.

Following extensive sector engagement and an official endorsement from the Scottish Government in February 2022, we successfully secured the necessary funding. This paved the way for the official launch of the Shared ARC Programme in March 2022.

Transforming Parental Services

The core proposition of EA Connect is to streamline and enhance the delivery of educational services through a unified, digital platform.

By consolidating the Education Authority’s key services of Admissions, Transport, SEN Annual Reviews, and Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance, into a single, user-friendly interface, EA Connect aims to reduce administrative burdens, improve efficiency, and foster better collaboration among educators, parents, and service providers.

This holistic approach ensures that every child’s educational needs are met more effectively, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and efficient educational system.
