StopNCII.org
StopNCII.org enables users to create digital hashes of their intimate images to protect them from being shared online without consent. These digital hashes (which are a world first for this purpose) are created directly on the person’s device meaning they never lose control of the image and it never leaves their device. The hash is sent securely to the StopNCII.org hash bank and is then shared with participating partners. Industry partners then scan all images uploaded to their platforms against the hash bank and any matches are flagged and moderated. Intimate images are then blocked from sharing on any participating platform.
StopNCII was the ground breaking solution needed to respond to the alarming rise of intimate image abuse worldwide whilst also addressing the privacy concern for victims seeking support. Control is put back in the hands of victims, effectively protecting and empowering victims whilst taking power away from perpetrators.
